The Coder Squad 是由台灣軟體程式設計師所組成的，並提供了機會與平台讓成員們能定期相聚，以期能分享經驗、互相合作、且協助彼此解決最困難的挑戰。成員採邀請制。

The Coder Squad is an exclusive group of software developers in Taiwan who regularly meet in person to share, collaborate, and help each other with their most challenging situations. By invitation only.

獨立對等的支援

軟體工程師們每天都很認真地在解決各種新的問題。然而，只有那些沒有衝突或既得利益、真正在創造新產品的其他程式設計師才能給予他們最正確獨立的協助。

Coder Squad的成員定期召開秘密會議，以期能利用程式設計師們彼此的知識、經驗與智慧，集思廣益，提供彼此公正中肯的建議。在這裡，程式設計師可以擁有一個安全、保密的環境，針對他們最具挑戰性的困難與目標進行秘密討論。

Independent Peer-to-Peer Support

Every day, software engineers (coders) work hard at solving new problems. Only other coders who are actively creating new products, without conflicting or vested interest, can make the right independent recommendation to them.

Coder Squad members meet regularly behind closed doors, in order to leverage their collective knowledge, experience, and wisdom, providing unbiased assistance to each other on the path to success. Coders have a safe and protected environment to discuss and address their most challenging obstacles and objectives, confidentially.

僅限程式設計師

同路人才最能了解彼此、惺惺相惜。只有同樣是程式設計師，才能了解其他的程式設計師。有鑑於此，只有目前正在從事軟體程式設計的程式設計師們才能加入Coder Squad。

除此之外，經過篩選符合資格的工程師亦可以成為「指揮官」並舉辦小組會議。「指揮官」會幫忙找到每個問題的根本，引導討論的流程，並帶領整個小組一起找到解決問題的最佳答案。

Coders Only

It takes one to know one. Only coders are able to relate to other coders in a useful way. Anyone who is not currently coding software is not admitted.

Qualified coders can become Squad Leaders, and run the group meetings. Squad Leaders help to find the root of each question, guiding the flow of discussions, and leading the group to find the best answers together.

就要最棘手的狀況

我們不是程式設計師可以來尋求幫助的第一個團隊，而是最後一個。我們只對付最具挑戰性的情況─不管是不完整的資料，或是因太多變數而無法作出最好的決定等等，我們能最有效地運用彼此的經驗與人際網絡來幫助解決問題。

在討論解決方案的過程中，往往會產生意見分歧的現象，然而工程師收穫最多之處即在於彼此討論的過程。每次討論的收穫都如同最珍貴的寶物，不但使工程師能立即獲得助益和改變，更可以產生長遠的影響。

Most Challenging Situations Only

We aren't the first group coders turn to for help, we are the last. We only tackle the most challenging situations, with incomplete data, too many parameters to make clear-cut decisions, leveraging our collective experience and networks.

One of the challenges is that there can be disagreeing views on what solution to choose, but what coders take away from this is the process that led to this point. This is the golden nugget that makes a difference to coders immediately and in the long term.

在真實世界作出決策

在這裡我們會討論想法，且最重要的是，我們尋求可以真正付諸行動的決定方案。我們不是只會唱高調，我們是真的把事情做好！當其他人已經放棄或離開時，我們還是會堅持處理好問題。程式設計師有時候會意識到他必須做出一個艱難的決定並且改走另一條非常不一樣的路，對此我們給予鼓勵。我們除了一個月見面一次之外，也會在任何會員需要幫助的時候見面。

Real-World Decision Making

We discuss new ideas, but most importantly, we seek actionable decisions. We do not theorize, we get things done. We stick around when others have given up. Sometime a coders realizes s/he needs to make a difficult choice and take a very different path. We encourage that. We meet in person once a month, and in-between whenever members need help.

Coder Squad的會員專注於建立具有意義的產品與服務。他們來自各種不同的領域，各有各的規模，為的是要改變和突破社會現狀。找到一個能讓事業持續發展的方法是比任何事情都重要的，灑錢解決問題並不是個好方法，而增資總是我們最後考慮的方案。 

我們相信你的意圖比外在的條件更重要。從外而看，我們好像很瘋狂，自大狂妄，甚至像是製造麻煩的人；我們也可以把一些人惹毛─但這些都象徵了我們正在改造世界，使這社會轉變成我們理想中的模樣。

Technical Fundamentals

Coder Squad members focus on building meaningful products and services across industries, often disrupting the status-quo.

We believe intention matters more than appearances. From the outside, we can seem to be crazy and arrogant troublemakers. We can be criticized by some people, typically a sign that we are making the change we want to see in the world.

成為Squad Network的一部分

找到值得信賴的事業夥伴是最大的挑戰之一。Coder Squad的會員可以接觸到其他Squad的成員，這些成員包含工程師、設計師、律師和其他相互搭配的人才，大家一起參與聚會，彼此分享、相互合作幫忙。Squad Network的創立綱領之一就是在於建立一個互信的合作關係。

Finding trustworthy partners to work with, is one of the biggest challenges of any professional endeavor. Coder Squad members have access to members of the other Squads, which comprise entrepreneurs, designers, lawyers, and other complementary talents, to meet, share, help and work together. Building trust relationships is one of the founding principles of the Squad Network.

Multiple Diversity

Coder Squad members span across multiple industries. Coders of one industry get to learn about methods, strategies, and tactics used in other industries, dramatically increasing their knowledge and professional network.

Across these industries, coders range from young professionals to accomplished experts with years of experience. More experienced members tend to bring invaluable wisdom, while younger ones tend to bring invaluable ideas and energy. Everyone wins.
